More Info

Help protect biodiversity and lessen danger of wildfire in El Cerrito's beautiful, 100-acre Hillside Natural Area. Enjoy meadows, oak woodlands, and spectacular views; learn about natives while you use big orange levers to pull out invasive, fire-prone French broom.
Teens and up welcome. Tools, gloves, snacks, and good company provided. Wear long pants, long sleeves, socks, and closed-toed shoes with good traction. Avoid fuzzy clothes that catch seeds. Bring sun protection and a re-usable water bottle.
Groups of 10 or more please RSVP. Otherwise, just show up! Meet at the Douglas Drive entrance, next to 1520 Douglas Drive, south of Potrero. Info:
