SRVEF SUMMER IMAGINEERING COSMETIC CHEMISTRY CHEMISTRY OF SUDS, SMELLS & BUBBLES Soap, perfumes & bath bombs... chemistry is all around us! Students will learn and explore cosmetic chemistry with hands on experiments. The bubbles of bath bombs will be used to understand chemical reactions. Acid and base chemistry will be explained as students make their own soap. Our budding chemists will also discover how the shapes of molecules can be used to mimic smells.
